PRE TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Precautions: 

• No NSAIDS, blood thinners 1 week prior to treatment

• Chemical peels in 1-6 weeks prior to treatment

• LED or non-invasive lasers 2-3 weeks prior to treatment

• Invasive lasers 6-12 weeks prior to treatment

• Use of Retin-A, Retinoid 1 month prior to treatment

• Hair perm or dye 1 week prior to treatment

Do NOT wear any make-up, lotions or creams on treatment area on the day of treatment. 
Contraindications:

• Pacemaker, defibrillator or implanted device

• Pregnant/breast feeding

• Current or history of skin cancer

• Compromised immunity 

• History of herpes simplex (patient must be perscribed antivirals prior)

• History of keloid

• Impaired blood clotting or taking anticoagulant in last 10 days

POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Results after 30 days, 3 consecutive treatments recommended, 30 days apart

After treatment, swelling and redness is normal with resolution in the next few hours. Patient advised not to wear make up on treatment day. Patient should avoid direct sun exposure and wear 30+ spf sunscreen during treatment course.

• DO hydrate well after treatment as this may produce a better result.

• DO NOT vigorously scrub the skin after treatment.

• DO gently wash your face and continue with your usual skincare routine. 

• DO NOT undergo laser treatments, chemical peels, waxing or microdermabrasion for 3-4 weeks after treatment.

• DO wait 7 days before resuming the use of lsotretinoin, Trentinon or other perscription creams that treat acne, hyperpigmentation or aging. 

• Avoid using exfoliation agents such as a Clarisonic brush as well.

• DO expect some tenderness, swelling, warmth and redness on the treated areas for a few days.

• If instructed to take antivirals, DO complete the perscribed course.

• DO schedule your next treatment to follow the recommended course to maximize results.
